A Joint Statement by College Employers Scotland and Support Staff Trade Unions
“Today, College Employers Scotland and the support staff trade unions (UNISON, UNITE and GMB) officially settled the 2021/22 pay claim.
“Staff side and management side representatives jointly agreed a consolidated pay offer of £1,000 to support staff, effective from 1st September 2021, alongside other improvements to terms and conditions. Colleges will now work to apply this pay award as soon as possible.
“UNISON, UNITE and GMB members were consulted on this pay offer, and members of all three trade unions have voted to accept.
“Both sides welcome this joint endeavour to find a constructive settlement to this year’s pay claim and look forward to improved industrial relations in the future.”
